Landscape Beautification

Need suggestions on what to plant in the mulch areas? Attached are plants that are highly recommended and approved for planting in the mulch areas. Don't forget any changes to landscaping requires a ACRF form that is attached prior to any planting.

Tips on planting:

The rule of 3 in landscaping is a design principle stating that grouping plants, materials, or features in odd numbers—specifically three, five, or seven—creates more natural, balanced, and visually appealing arrangements than even-numbered pairings. This technique creates instant focal points, adds depth, and encourages a cohesive, organic flow rather than rigid symmetry

Plant Groupings:

Planting three of the same shrub or perennial together to create a fuller, more mature look immediately, rather than waiting for one plant to fill in.

Layering Heights: Arranging plants in groups of three by height (e.g., one tall, one medium, one low) to create a tiered, layered effect.

Container Gardening: Grouping three pots of different heights, but often the same color or material, to form a cohesive, staggered display.

Color Palette: Selecting three complementary or analogous colors to maintain harmony throughout the garden design.
